Moshe studied at a yeshiva. He joined the movement at an early age. In 1943 he was imprisoned with other comrades in the Garany detention camp because they had helped refugees from Slovakia, members of the movement, transferred them and absorbed them. Moshe escaped, in 1944 joined the underground of his movement, was caught and deported to Auschwitz. In May 1945 he returned to Hungary and resumed his activities in the movement. In October 1945 Moshe made aliya with the Ehad BeMay garin. Moshe was among the settlers of Kibbutz Yassur.
